Scent & Product Information
Pillar candles are made of a soy wax blend made for pillars or a soy/paraffin wax blend that we create in house. We use 100% cotton wicks for our candles and a mix of fragrance oils and essential oils in our scented candle blends.
In general our scented candles are formulated to provide an atmospheric to medium scent profile. We believe in the delicate sensibilities of the nose and do not use overly strong fragranced oils. Will you smell your scented candle? Absolutely! Will it be overpowering in the home? No!
Our container candles as whole smell the strongest of our line. If you are looking for our strongest scents. Try one of those!
Essential oils are highly concentrated oils from a plant. Fragrance oils are a diluted oil with a mix fragrances to support the scent. We use both in our candles!
I could smell my scented candle and now I can not! What’s wrong?
Nose blindness is a thing. We suggest leaving the room and coming back in if you find you suddenly are not smelling your candle as strongly.

Shipping
We are a small operation packing orders with love and care. Please be patient as it may take a few days for you to get a tracking number.
There are delays in shipping across various parts of the country, your patience is appreciated as your package works its way to you.
We are working on getting international shipping up and running. As we work on this, please note, value added tax is is imposed by the receiving country. For candles the tax is 27.5% of the package value. Please understand we wish this was not the case, but we must work with customs to be clear and accurate. We cannot mark orders as gifts.
BURN SAFELY - FIRE IS BEAUTIFUL AND DANGEROUS
Always ensure candles are burned in a heat safe dish - Make sure nothing flammable is around or above the candle that could ignite. - Never leave a candle unattended. -
When you burn your candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the surface is liquid. (Depending on your candle size, this may be 2 - 4 hours) Then put out your candle until next time.
After the initial burn, burning the candle for 3 to 4 hour sessions will provide the optimal burn time.

My candle is suddenly spill over. What happened?
Generally this happens when you over-burn a candle or if you’ve left any of the foreign materia on top that could catch fire. FIRE BURNS. To keep this from happening make sure each pillar candle has enough space to not be affected by any other heat source. Ensure it’s in a heat safe dish. Do not burn more than 4 hours at any time. Remove any flammable materia from the top of the candle.
